Cambozola is a German semi-soft cow’s milk cheese, born in the Allgäu region of Southern Germany. Cambozola is often marketed as a ‘blue brie’ due to its creamy texture, but bold sharp flavour profile and sweet undertones. A portmanteau of Camembert and Gorgonzola, the Cambozola flavour is a marriage of the moist creaminess of a French Camembert and the sharp boldness of the blue family head of the Gorgonzola.
