The Bûche de Chèvre is a French semi-soft goat cheese producer with unpasteurised goats milk in the Poitou-Charentes region in the Loire Valley of central France. The Bûche de Chèvre has much of the normal texture characteristics of a goat cheese texture; density, smoothness and a crusty edible rind. But distinguishes itself with its bold, sweet and creamy flavour characteristics that make it great in salads or for dessert.
