Truffle Pecorino, or ‘Pecorino al Tartufo’ in Italian, is a semi-soft sheep’s milk cheese with a uniquely crumbly and firm texture. Born in the Tuscany region of Southern Italy, the Truffle Peconiro combines the earthy, bitter and fruity flavours with the natural and robust flavours of real slices of summer truffles to create its own unique flavour in a region with many cheese champions.
